Axis Mundi offers affordable, flat-rate and sliding scale therapy and counseling that's reflective of a clinician's expertise and experience. You'll always know what your rate is before treatment begins, as well as what and when to expect rate increases. It's a clear, no-nonsense approach to fee-setting that we hope honors your investment of money, time, and energy with its clarity.
We work with both licensed and pre-licensed clinicians who are specifically chosen for their demonstrated commitments to excellence and cultural humility.
Session Cost:
Trainees in Practicum: $30.00 - $70.00
1st Year Associates: $70.00 - $110.00
2nd Year Associates: $70.00 - $150.00
Licensed Clinicians and Senior Associates: sliding scales set by the clinicians, please inquire.
** SUMMER 2023 Update: Low fee spots are nearly full. We anticipate openings in Fall of 2023.
Sessions are 50 minutes in length, unless otherwise specified and agreed-upon. Group and retreat costs are variable, and established by group leaders. There are a limited number of low-fee openings, please let us know early if this is a need.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate of Services:
Under the 2021 No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services.
Do you have health insurance? Do you wish to use it to receive compensation for services?
Axis Mundi Center for Mental Health does not bill or accept health insurance. However, your insurance plan may reimburse you for services received out-of-network. Our clinicians are happy to provide you with a superbill detailing the cost of your service, but cannot act on your behalf as your representative, nor can we guarantee that you will receive reimbursement from your insurance company.
Make sure your provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your service.
Axis Mundi clinicians must provide you with the fee for services before therapy begins. Fees for services are different clinician to clinician depending on where they fall in the above-noted fee scale, and cannot be relied upon to account for issues like illness, emergency, scheduling conflicts, etc. The agency supports annual increases of fee relative to cost-of-living increases (within our fee scales noted above) in order to support the sustainability of our clinicians.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
