OFFICE IN OAKLAND, CA.

Sometimes life works the way we want or expect, and other times it’s not what we had in mind.  How we adapt, grow, and who we look to for support, will illuminate our paths. My past work as a birth doula awakened the importance of supporting early bonding and celebrating life transitions. Working from a nature-based, attachment and body focused approach, our own birth and early childhood experiences lay the foundations of how we relate to ourselves and others.

As we move through difficult times as adults, many of us are unknowingly playing out subconscious and childhood patterns.  With my support, humor, and warmth, we will connect to your inner strength to be more present and advocate for your whole self. Our work together will empower you to be more comfortable in your body and truth.

I am a Berkeley local who gave up lawyering to help women learn to advocate for themselves in childbirth. As a birth doula and birth spirituality and wellness coach, my work focused on supporting new families as they adjusted to this new way of living.  I returned to school to become a therapist after deciding to gather more skills in perinatal, attachment, and somatic psychology. My work focuses on building capacity for mindful parenting, healing from difficult birth experiences, developing your inner resources and supporting you through relationship transitions and break-ups.

People have come to me for care and to help find their ground. Since before adolescence, I felt the power of ceremony as a marker and resource for life’s transitions and challenges. Creation of sacred space allows us to honor our true intentions, and locate self-acceptance as a resource. The connection between life transitions, earth-based spirituality, and the balance of body, mind and soul is the heart of my work.  Big life changes can be strengthening if supported in a grounded and nurturing environment. As we move through difficult times as adults, many of us are unknowingly playing out subconscious and childhood patterns.  With my support, humor, and warmth, we will connect to your inner strength to be more present and advocate for your whole self. Our work together will empower you to be more comfortable in your body and truth.
