My approach is collaborative; you and I will work together in whatever you bring into therapy. I am an eclectic therapist, meaning I will pull from my toolbox different modalities, including but not limited to: parts work, dreamwork, relational therapy, psychodynamic approaches, inner child work, strengths-based therapy, depth psychology, transpersonal therapy, integration work, existential therapy, expressive arts, and somatic therapy. Sometimes what we need the most is to be witnessed. I balance creating space for you to process with offering guidance, oftentimes sharing information that may be supportive for you.

I work with clients through themes around prioritizing needs, verbalizing emotions, difficulties placing boundaries, authenticity, perfectionism, burnout, life transitions, grief, existentialism, altered states of consciousness, navigating systems of oppression, and internalized oppression. I work with clients who may come from a collectivist culture(s) that may have difficulty balancing their needs with those of others.

I work with clients that have a hard time balancing giving and receiving; that have not been able to put their emotions into words, especially when they are not typically welcomed in our society. I work with clients who struggle with showing up authentically in spaces or understanding who they are; whether they have been told they are “too sensitive” or they know themselves to feel deeply, and feel the need to put on a mask to fit in or accommodate others.

People who have experienced altered states of consciousness, have gone through transitions, and are now integrating from those experiences may also find value in working with me. Clients who work with me might be questioning previous held beliefs, who they are, their identity, and even their worldviews. They could be awakening or noticing things about themselves and society that weren’t there before. “Who am I?” and “Why am I here?” are questions I explore with my clients.

I work with women of color, immigrants, Latinxs, Chicanxs, adult children of immigrants, adult children of emotionally immature parents, highly sensitive people, artists/creatives, teenagers, women, LGBTQIA+ folks, creatives/artists, and folks who feel aligned with my work. I care deeply about the journey we will embark together and for you to feel you can be yourself in the space we co-create. I welcome you to get to know me as another human in the room with you.
